Imagine being so powerful that everyone has to reflect your shortcomings. If you were to believe the lack of critical thinking rampant in the spiritual community these days we are all assholes at large reflecting each other – that is our sole purpose in this life apparently. You never hear these same neophytes point and cackle at a pleasant exchange, ‘why are you so joyful John? Are you just happy because Bob is reflecting you? Somebody woke up on the right side of the bed this morning!’

Anyone knows every human is fully capable of demonstrating the entire spectrum of emotional responses at any given time. The universe does not need to remind any of us that we are emotionally reactive – some often, some not so much. Just because someone manages to annoy you it does not denote a broken psyche…it just means the other person is annoying. Some days you are too distracted by other annoyances to notice, and other days they take center stage. The world is full of trespassers – including yourself.
