Most of my life was spent brain reacting when I interacted with others, and it was often mistakingly judgemental. If on first impression my brain had decided that they were a threat on some level, then every time we would meet in the future I would take up where I left off.

One of the hallmarks of unconscious brain interpretation is that it relies on past experiences with other similar appearing people and situations, and never allows for the other person to change.
